So, Chocolatini has had all three of her puppies, she looks exhausted, but pleased with herself, and the babies are curled up close to her, all three, tiny, dark little ones with brown paws. Since mama and papa are both so pale, it’s a little surprising to me that they are ALL so dark!
She made it through like a champ, and, as my rapid fire posts let on, she made it through in great form. The final numbers for her babies-
The first born boy- 120g or 4.23oz
Second born boy – 100g or 3.52oz
The little girl – 94g female 3.31oz
I had always said that when her puppies were born, I would call them all after coffee, since she’s Chocolatini, and my other Yorkshire is Mochaccino. So, we have Cappuccino, Espresso (which is really fitting, because he came out just thrashing and his first move was to try and do a lap around the box) and Macchiata.
It is currently ten to two, and I am going to be sleeping on the couch to keep an eye on them tonight.
